AWHF is leading a strategic initiative to upgrade living conditions for defense forces serving in remote conditions.
In many cases, the lack of running water and basic hygienic conditions are the greatest enemy, leading to health and morale issues. We believe it is every Armenian’s responsibility to ensure proper conditions for the people that are protecting us. Each mobile “Defense Support Unit” will represent a package of critical utilities to our forces:
- Running Water (including the distribution network in remote areas)
- Hot Water (using solar heating)
- Hygienic Facilities (in insulated, mold-proof mobile units)
- Power (either solar or through extension of the grid)
- Clean Kitchen / wash area
- Hygienic Rest Area

The Armenian Wounded Heroes Fund (AWHF) works to support the well-being of our heroes serving on the frontlines by providing essential infrastructure such as water, solar energy, hygiene, and food systems.
- Solar panels, communication devices, and other infrastructure
- Protective equipment to safeguard their health and safety
- Essential personal protective gear—eye protection, water supply systems, comfortable backpacks, and gloves
Our mission is to equip our heroes with the most vital technical equipment and comfort needed to endure the harshest combat conditions.
With the help of the Fund for Wounded Armenian Heroes, 4 underground water tanks were renovated in Military Unit X, and completely new water pipes were installed to provide a reliable water supply to the unit. This initiative ensures access to water for hundreds of soldiers.
These are new facilities built for our forces, thanks to your donations. We are very happy that they will have more sanitary and comfortable conditions as they defend Armenia. We thank everyone for their donations and care.
