In Artsakh, AWHF is proud to support the Karjian Family Initiative for funding employment and on-the-job training for wounded warriors with disabilities.
Two wounded veterans of Artsakh, who were previously unable to work due to their injuries have now been provided employment through AWHF. They are working and learning on the job at the Agency for Emergency Response in Artsakh. AWHF will pay for their first year of salary so they can learn and become fully functioning, contributing employees during this initial period. We believe that returning our veterans to productive life is the best investment we can make to create a sustainable impact.
In Yerevan an educational program was initiated in September 2017 for some of our most heavily wounded warriors to support their outlook on life through English speaking classes, and to develop other skills, such as accounting, that will open doors for employment in both the private and governmental sectors.
Accounting classes are in progress, and AWHF continues to look for volunteers who can conduct classes in English and other courses. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us.

We will report progress on both programs on this page.
