Meet Armenian Wounded Warrior Roland Sahakyan
Roland Sahakyan was drafted in the army in 2016. He was wounded in Artsakh by a sniper during the four-day April 2016 war, and still paralyzed from the waist down. His dream is to fully recover from his wounds which include head and spinal injuries.
He is also interested in learning English as well as regaining his memory. Roland is determined to fully recover and to return to “normal everyday life”. He is currently receiving rehabilitation services funded by AWHF.
