Daniel Davtyan was injured in Mataghis, Artsakh, during the Azeri attacks of April 2016.
He was injured in combat from heavy artillery fire by the enemy, surviving an explosion which left shrapnel throughout his body and head. He recently successfully underwent reconstructive surgery for his head wounds.
He is now in good hands and recovering through daily physical therapy routines and medical care. AWHF provides funding for medical treatment, physical rehabilitation, medicines, food and lodging (if necessary) to our wounded heroes like Daniel.
