Meet Tatul Harutunyan, 19, wounded by an Azeri sniper in April 2017, in Artsakh.

He suffered a gun shot wound which pierced his forehead. He was transported to the Muracan military hospital where he underwent multiple surgeries and was in a coma for 10 days. Miraculously, Tatul has defied all odds and was eventually able to see, speak, hear and walk, albeit with some difficulty.

Tatul is now in the able hands of our Davitner rehabilitation team and fighting for recovery.

We thank the Intercommunal Committee of Armenian in Philadelphia for their support and encourage all organizations to help fund our soldiers’ recovery.
