A group of 80 patriotic Armenians in Los Angeles raised over $93,000 at a “Scotch and Cigar” event on April 27, at the home of Chris and Melody Petrossian.
Major Sargis Stepanyan was present at the event and discussed his own injuries during combat, and his road to recovery. Mr. Robert Avetissian, Permanent Representative of Artsakh in the U.S. also highlighted the importance of assisting our defense forces. CA Assembly Member Adrin Nazarian delivered inspiring remarks in support of Artsakh, and presented certificates of recognition to Major Stepanyan and AWHF board members.
AWHF Founders Chris Petrossian and Razmig Arzoumanian discussed progress in deploying life-saving military first-aid kits across the Artsakh front lines, and our new initiative for post trauma care and rehabilitation for our wounded warriors.
