Six out of Ten Regions (“Zoramas”) in Artsakh are Now Fully Outfitted and Operational

In December 2017, AWHF visited multiple, remote defense positions on the front lines to monitor
the deployment of the latest shipment of U.S.-made, life-saving first aid kits. In all instances, we observed complete and proper deployment of the first aid kits to front-line personnel. We
congratulate our defense forces on their professionalism and preparedness! Watch our brave
young combat medics explain the contents and uses of advanced casualty care kits.

We observed a high level of operational readiness and high spirits among our defense forces, ahead of the year-end holidays. All were greatly appreciative of AWHF donors and partner organizations for the level of care and attention demonstrated through these world-class kits and other efforts. Thank you to all our donors for making this achievement possible, you have truly made a significant impact on the battlefield and the well-being of our heroes.

During this trip, we continued to receive first-hand reports of multiple lives saved with AWHF
first aid kits. Statistics are not yet available for publication, but the numbers exceeded our
expectations. We must do everything possible to cover the entire front with these highly effective
kits as soon as possible. With your continued contributions, our goal is to complete deployment
of kits across the entire front line of Artsakh and Armenia in 2018.
