Training Designed to Save Lives
As part of its support for U.S. peacekeeping operations, Armenia is teamed up with the Kansas National Guard to train Armenian Army units for such operations in multiple other countries. This training is designed to save lives in combat by developing a nationwide, modern capability for Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).
The Need for Kits
Armenian units regularly train with their U.S. and other NATO counterparts. The U.S. Army has gifted a mobile field hospital, and is funding the Combat Medic School in Yerevan. However, the U.S. government is not providing the specialized military first aid kits required for this program. This is where AWHF is filling the gap, and deploying advanced life-saving equipment throughout the front lines… therefore delivering a new, strategic capability for the Armenian defense forces.
